PHY 2140 Exam Information
All midterm exams will contain 11 problem plus one extra-credit
problem. All of the problems require multiple-choice answers.
Approximately 70% of the problems are numerical, while 30% of the
problems are conceptual. The problems are similar to your homework
problems and to the conceptual problems discussed in class.
Formula sheet will be provided. It will be identical to the formula
sheet for the sample exam. Also, you can bring a half-page list of any
information that you think might be useful for you during the exam. All
of the exams are closed-book exams. You can only use your calculators
and your "half-page".
