Light Microscope Summer (LMS) program is provided by Professor Takeshi Sakamoto & Mr. Ahmed Badwi, at Department of physics and Astronomy, WSU, and is supported by National Scientific Foundation (NSF). This is a summer internship (fellowship) for local high school students. The aim of LMS program is to understand light/lens and microscopy through a hands-on projects. The tentative schedule shows below. LMS is not only fun exercise, but also develops a thinking pathway via experiments, e.g. identify problems and solve. In this year, we will have two session and will take 4~6 students per session. Each student will earn $450 per session (e.g. two-week).
